The Art of Debate as a Fascist

Usually when I put out an article here on the website, I try to do my best to educate–and give resources to–Fascists seeking answers to frequently asked questions. Not everyone who reads this press is a veteran Fascist, and some are not even Fascists at all, so it comes as no surprise people will often times come asking things such as, “How should I handle debating a Leftist, or a Liberal?” This is a fair question, as this is a wildly different beast from debating a right-winger or another third positionist. Therefore, I seek to arm you, the reader, with what Mussolini called “the book and the sword.” Not a sword in a literal sense, a sword being the knowledge of how to use what’s in the book, and the book could be any piece of Fascist doctrine or literature.

When debating a Leftist, you will encounter two types of people. I will try my best to arm you for both of these characters, but first I want to give you a brief outline of what you should do when in a debate, regardless of the ideological leanings of who you’re going against. For one, always maintain a calm composure. Do not shout, do not get angry, even if they attempt to talk over you, even if they scream, even if they call you an evil racist Nazi. Calmly explain why you are not what they accuse you of being, and if they do not listen, then they do not listen. Walk away from situations like this. Or, alternatively, if they choose to get violent, be ready to defend yourself, but NEVER instigate a fight. We are better than that. We’re not ANTIFA thugs on the streets of Portland, we are Fascisti. The second thing you must always remember is to be armed with the aforementioned book and sword. Be well read and always ready to cite Fascist theory at any time during a debate. This will help you greatly and back your case up better than any screaming match ever could. That being established, let’s get into the types of people you will encounter when you argue the case for Fascism.

The first is the more calm and collected Leftist. This person has likely read a lot of theory, or maybe they haven’t, but they still have a decent understanding of their ideology, whether they be a Democratic Socialist or a radical Communist. In truth, I love having conversations with these people, no matter how far we disagree, because I enjoy debating people who have a genuine idea of what they’re talking about and can back up their beliefs, even if I disagree. This scenario is healthy debate, and even if you don’t change their minds, agree to disagree, and above all respect them. Even if they are opposition, they are still a human being deserving of your respect, treat them as such. Calmly explain why you believe they are wrong, and why you are right, and be done with it. Productive discourse even when minds are not changed is still productive. We’ve encountered many Leftists like this, some have had their minds changed, and some have even become Fascisti. This is the kind of healthy political exchange of ideas we want to facilitate.

The second kind of person you will likely encounter when debating a Leftist is the type I’m sure you’re all familiar with. They will shout, they will yell at you, threaten you with violence, they likely do not have an understanding of what Fascism is nor their own beliefs. I would like to refer back to the code of conduct I outlined. No matter how frustrating talking to these people can be, always keep your cool, always remain calm. Trust me, I know how frustrating being talked over and being accused of something you aren’t can be, but you can never let these people get to your head. If they do, they’ve won, and that is far worse for the cause than any verbal or physical abuse you will face from them. The important thing is to still direct them towards sources they can use to learn more about Fascism, or towards our website, even if they refuse to take it. If they don’t want to educate themselves, that’s on them. Remain respectful and give them everything you can, and walk away if the conversation is going nowhere.

As Oswald Mosley once said, “Those who march with us will most certainly face abuse.” The most important part of being a Fascist activist is understanding this unfortunate truth. Unlike every other political ideology on the planet (barring of course National Socialism) we have been branded as an “untouchable” thought, and you will likely be threatened for having your beliefs. When you come to accept this, and learn how to remain in control of situation no matter how tense it may be, you will go far in the world of debate and spreading the message of Fascism in the 21st century.

I hope this brief summary helps anyone who has questions about debate and defending Fascism in that context. We are now providing resources on our website for those who wish to get free PDF copies of Fascist literature, as well as our podcast which is available on our YouTube Channel. Currently the schedule for the Fascisti Radio is every Friday, so stay tuned for that.

God bless you all comrades.

Tomorrow we live.

“Those who march with us will certainly face abuse, misunderstanding, bitter animosity, and possibly the ferocity of struggle and of danger. In return, we can only offer to them the deep belief that they are fighting that a great land may live.” – Sir Oswald Mosley
